MTS - Senior Software Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to architect and develop core platform components enabling seamless GenAI deployment for enterprises. In this role, you will focus on GenAI serving infrastructure, model management, distributed systems, cluster management, data orchestration, APIs, and service front ends—all while delivering an exceptional developer experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Architect & Build: Design and develop reliable, high-performance systems for GenAI model deployment, data handling, and distributed computing.
  • Integrate GenAI: Implement cutting-edge GenAI solutions within our platform, including embeddings, data catalogs, and retrieval systems.
  • Develop APIs: Create and maintain APIs with a focus on developer experience, security, and scalability. Example: API Reference
  • Optimize Operations: Collaborate on ops-related tooling (enhance deployment pipelines, monitoring, security best practices) to ensure stability and resilience.
  • Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with cross-functional teams to explore new GenAI research, evaluate the latest GenAI papers/benchmarks, and bring emerging techniques into production.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience, ideally building and scaling complex platforms or distributed systems.
  • Proficiency in Python: Expertise in designing, developing, and debugging Python-based services.
  • Hands-on AI/ML Interest: Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and a genuine desire to stay current with the rapid evolution of GenAI technologies.
  • Operational Knowledge: Understanding of DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure), and security principles.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to break down complex technical challenges and deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
  • Team Player: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with an ownership mentality and accountability for delivering results.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Open Source Contributions: Especially related to GenAI, distributed systems, or data orchestration.
  • Cloud Networking Expertise: Experience with DNS, VPC setup, or cloud network infrastructure.
  • Scientific/ML Background: A solid grounding in math, physics, or related fields.
  • GenAI Automation: Already using GenAI tools to streamline your development workflow.
  • Experience with complex enterprise software development lifecycles, from ideation to post deployment.
